The subject for Darfield 3's assembly was Refugee week and it was full of poignant messages. The children acted out a story of a family having to flee from their home because of war. I think we all felt very emotional as they showed us the impact it had on the family's lives. They had chosen to sing the song Refuge to end their assembly and it couldn't have been more perfect....

Our staff were finally trained to use the gym equipment that we have had installed in TheGym@Harehills and on a gloriously sunny day children got to try it out for the first time. It is without doubt a fantastic facility which so many children in Year 3,4 ,5 and 6 will enjoy using.
