The joy of performing

I absolutely loved the experience of watching the children who had attended Young Voices 2023 at Sheffield Arena perform in Harehills Arena (our Hall) on Friday afternoon; a wonderful end to another week filled with high quality learning.

Being able to perform in front of hundreds of children and adults is a real test of character and the children exuded confidence and personality. Sharing learning experiences with others is a very special way of giving an insight into just how much you have learned and how much enjoyment you have got along the way. The enthusiasm, excitement and professionalism left the audience without any doubt of how much our Young Voices had valued this opportunity. There was a feeling of joy right around the hall and I spotted many of the audience joining in by singing or copying the actions.

Moments like that in a Primary School are pure magic.
