Proud to be a healthy school

We are pleased to have been reaccredited with Healthy School status. This is an important award to hold as it recognises that we are an effective school in terms of keeping our children and staff healthy in many ways. The team of assessors recognised the many strengths our school has in the way we encourage healthy eating, heathy minds and bodies and healthy souls. They were very complimentary about our children and how well they understood their role in keeping themselves healthy and helping others to do so. Mrs McMullen and Miss Melling do a wonderful job leading our Healthy schools team with both pride and passion. Well done to all who played their part during the assessment day.

Year 6 children were certainly keeping themselves healthy whilst on residential for 3 days at Robinwood activity centre. They rose to the many challenges asked of them and returned safe and sound and extremely exhilarated by the whole experience.
