Kindness

It costs nothing to be kind to others but means such a lot. Darfield 2 children led our assembly and acted out the story of "The Smartest Giant in town," who just happened to be the kindest person in town as well. Their assembly explained what kindness is and how people feel when you are kind to them. At the end of their assembly the children set a challenge for all the other classes in school. How many acts of kindness can you do in one week was what they asked everyone try and do.

Harehills Primary school is full of kind and caring children and staff and I know that this challenge is one that most will have enjoyed and completed successfully. Thank you Darfield 2, Mrs Taylor and Miss Abbas for reminding us that the little things in life are often the most important and definitely the most rewarding.
