A positive start to the new half term

Last week was a challenging one and the snow on Monday morning made it particularly difficult for many staff to get to work. It is when things are tough that I can see more than ever what an incredibly supportive staff team we have, so a huge thank you to all of our staff for looking out for one another's well-being.

Every year group has picked up where they left off in terms of high quality and interesting learning experiences and our children are solucky to be in classes where staff spend so much time ensuring that every child loves learning.At our Nsign Alliance meeting, we were proud to share the work that we do through our Harehills curriculum with a focus on History. Colleagues commented on the creative way we have designed our curriculum and I have certainly seen the positive impact this has on our children last week.

We had many visitors during the week who commented on our children's exemplary behaviour which they noted is particularly impressive when the weather is wild and unpredictable.🙌
