Out and about

It might have been wet and cold but it hasn't stopped our children making the most of trips outside of school. All year groups have carefully planned in trips and experiences that bring their themes to life. Year 3 classes have loved their taster of the Stoneage at Herd Farm as have Year 4 who travelled back in time to the age of the Vikings during their visit to the Jorvik centre in York.

I can feel the excitement building within Year 6 as it gets ever closer to their residential at Herd farm. They will set off next Wednesday and children who are unable to go will be off to the climbing wall at City bloc as well as undertaking a whole rangeof fun activities back in school.

All these opportunities add an extra dimension to our curriculum which supports children's personal, social and emotional development by giving them chance to develop their skills by exploring , enquiring, challenging and encouraging one another and working inteams.

Great fun and always memorable👍😃
