An outward facing school
It has been as very busy start to the new half term. We have hosted lots of visitors from other schools, including Secondary trainee teachers. It is enjoyable and important to share best practice from our school as well as listening and learning about what is effective in other schools. Snapshots into the life of our school have included school food and lunchtimes, assessment, children's books, leadership of early years just this week. So much to be proud about!
My highlight has been letting our Head Girl and Boy and Deputy Head Girl and Boy have an insight into the leadership of Harehills Primary. On Friday they joined our Strategic leadership meeting and made some useful contributions and comments. We have planned in for them to join us again and they are keen to bring with them their own agenda. Exciting indeed to have our pupils helping shape the strategic direction of our school.
