Sporting success

The hard work and enthusiasm Mr Waddington our PE leader and Mrs Mcmullen Assistant Head teacher have put in to improving involvement in Sport at Harehills Primary was recognised this week. We were successful in achieving the Bronze Sports Mark for school games. Going for Silver is now our aim and with exciting initiatives such as trained Sports Ambassadors I am sure we will make it by the end of this academic year.

Giving thanks at Harvest time

Elford 3 (Year 4) Miss Vickerman's class led our assemblies last week and reminded us of how we need to be thankful for all we have. They especially talked about the food we have and the farmers who work so hard to grow it. Our children and their families showed yet again how generous they are and gifts of food poured into school which have been gratefully received by East Leeds food bank.
