Fantastic Mr Dahl

Roald Dahl has inspired children to read for a long time and it is wonderful that once a year Roald Dahl day gives us the chance to take time out to explore the magic of his books. What fun we had!

Harehills Primary school is committed to ensuring that our school provides opportunities for children to 'learn, laugh and love' and Wednesday demonstrated just how well we do this. We were very excited when Made In Leeds TV contacted us to ask if they could film what we were doing to celebrate Roald Dahl day and the film they produced was wonderful and just exuded happiness. Our school looked amazing and I was bursting with pride. A huge thank you has to go to our staff for making sure you that the day was so special.

An extra thank you to Mrs Kane and Miss Pallas who inspired us all by adding their own ideas and creativity which would have made the fantastic Mr Dahl extremely proud. Just magical!
