A bit of festive magic

I joined the F2 children on their trip to Stockeld Park where we all escaped for a few hours into a world of fantasy, magic and mystery which happens at this time of year. Our children behaved perfectly and the conversations inspired by this visit were a joy to listen to.

On Sunday members of our choir joined children from other CHESS schools as part of the Advent service at St Aidan's Church. It was a wonderful event with music that left everyone with a feeling of both awe and wonder.

Harehills Primary Staff celebrated our recent Ofsted success as well as Christmas with a "Time to Sparkle" themed party last Friday. Great fun was had by all and the event reminded us all of what a fabulous team we are.

This week our children in F2, Year 1 and Year 2 invite their families and the rest of school to come and celebrate with them when they perform their own Christmas play. I look forward to the joy that a school play brings and a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
