Ready to learn

I really enjoyed visiting classrooms last week. Everywhere I went I was greeted by happy, smiling children who were very enthusiastic to talk about their learning. From Romans, tornadoes and number sentences to finding out about Outer Space, every class was inspired and engaged. In assembly we took time to think about the many things we are proud about at Harehills Primary school. We were very proud of exceeding our whole school attendance target last half term. To reach 95.6% in the winter time is a real achievement and I know that our children love coming to school every day so we are aiming to hit our target of 95% this half term too!
