An active school

Four of our year groups had great fun last week getting active when Mr Waddington and his amazing Luxor 3 Sports Ambassadors made sure they all took part in a range or races and physical challenges during their Sports afternoons. We were blessed by the weather and I know all the children enjoyed taking part and they showed off their PE skills as well as their determination and resilience.

We have also been treated to some taster sessions by Flex Dance and the British Military Martial Arts Association. Both groups have a regular after school letting at our school and I am hoping more of our children will sign up to be part of these exciting clubs. It was wonderful to watch the energy created as children and staff joined in with 100% enthusiasm. We want to thank Steph from Flex Dance and Charlotte from BMMA for giving us this opportunity.

This week the remaining year groups will have their Sports afternoons and I know they will be giving it their all. We are proud to be an active school.
