Complaints and Compliments
The Head Teacher, Strategic leadership team and other staff at Harehills Primary School are always happy to hear your views, comments, questions and concerns. This way, we can work together to avoid any problem escalating into something more serious.
If you are concerned or have a complaint about the school curriculum or any other related matter please express your concern to the Head Teacher.
If the matter cannot be resolved informally then a formal complaint, in writing, should be forwarded to the Chair of the Governing Body.
In the first instance, you may like to speak to your child’s class teacher. Alternatively you can arrange to see the following members of staff:
I am Jo Summerfield and I have the privilege of being Head teacher at Harehills Primary School.
It is my job to ensure that all children 'learn' and make as much progress as they can. I lead a very talented, experienced and energetic team at Harehills Primary to achieve this by making sure that staff and children 'love' what they are doing and 'laugh' a lot while they are doing it!
I am also a School Governor and I work in partnership with our Governors on all aspects of school life.
It is very rewarding being part of such a dedicated and enthusiastic group of governors who work tirelessly to make sure every child and their families have the best experience this school can offer.
I live in Roundhay with my husband and we have a son who is at a local high school and a daughter who is studying Medicine at Manchester University.
Spending quality time with my family and friends is really important to me. Travelling to new places is what I really enjoy and I love the freedom of sitting on a beach in the sunshine and breathing the sea air.
