Day 2 began with a hearty breakfast before they prepared for the adventures of the day. S1 tackled the high ropes before stacking crates in pairs (13 high!) S2 took a ride on the giant swing and conquered the high rope challenge! S3 worked together on the assault course and beat their fears on the giant swing! We are so proud of their determination and achievements!
Arrived at Herd Farm with lots of excitement. The children have already taken part in some thrilling activities: crate challenge, assault course, giant swing, night walk and marshmallows around the campfire.
I hope you've enjoyed completing your work from the Good Old Yorkshire home learning pack so far. I'm sure you've heard from your teacher by now that I am a silly sausage and didn't attach the answers for your Day 3 river vocabulary matching task! You should have had a go at matching them first and watching the videos will help you to know if you are correct.
I hope you are doing well at home. Today it is not Miss Vickerman doing the class blog it is…. Khadijah! I have decided to take over this week. It has been another exciting week here at school. We have done many new activities as well as having our virtual sports day. Have you guys tried joining in? Right now I am in school writing this to you while the class are doing their...
It’s not just Miss Vickerman here this week but all of the children from bubble A: Khadijah, Saabirin, Abbas, Yusuf and Mehnaz. We are currently sat in Miss Fleming’s classroom (Luxor 1) working hard on a piece of work, whilst we can hear Mr Khan outside screaming in a silly way with his class as they do PE.
We have enjoyed this week in school. Adam, you would be jealous,...
We come to the end of yet another week - a week which would normally have marked the end of an extremely busy half term for us in year 6! It’s been great to hear that most of you have persevered with your learning whilst staying safely at home. Remember what I always say:...
Hi there Sandhurst 1! Miss Shaw here, not reporting from home this time, but from my desk in our classroom! The classroom definitely looks different to how it did when we were all last here; it’s a little strange to be honest! The year six team have put together a brand new pack of home-learning to be delivered to you this week. I know many of you are still working through your other packs and...
Miss Vickerman here! I am writing to you yet again from my living room. It is becoming so normal to type these messages to you as we now enter week 8 of school being shut.
This week, you would have been sitting your SATs exams. It has been a very different week to how we all imagined it would be. I know that you will be applying the same determination that you have shown...
