Nursery - Paws and Claws Fun day in Nursery

This week Nursery are running wild!

To launch our new topic 'Paws and Claws' Nursery began this half term with a dressing up fun day.  The children came to school dressed as their favorite animal. We also had a variety of face painting and wild activities.

Nursery - Nursery - The Jungle

Welcome back everyone, and a Happy New Year to you all!

This term we are learning all about 'The Jungle'. We have looked at various jungle animals, we have pretended to be jungle explorers, and we have also used our bodies to create different animal movements. Nursery - The Tortoise and the Hare

This week we had a lady come in from Northern Ballet. She told us the story of the Tortoise and the Hare through dance and movement. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and had lots of fun joining in.

Nursery - Settling in

The children have been settling into their new Nursery environment. We have been focusing on learning the classroom rules, sharing and making friends. Our topics this term are 'Ourselves' and 'Autumn.' The children have been enjoying joining in with the story 'We're Going on a Leaf Hunt.' Nursery - Teddy Bears Picnic

This week we had a Teddy Bears Picnic party day at Nursery! We had party games, a disco and a bouncy castle all finished off by having a lovely picnic in the sunshine which the children had helped to plan and prepare. As you can see it was smiles all round - we had lots of fun!

The children in nursery have been trying hard to come to school on time every day in order to try and be the winner of an early bird prize!

Nursery - Once upon a time...

This term in Nursery our topic is Fairy Tales! The children have been having lots of fun joining in with all of our traditional tales and dressing up in the costumes. We have been making lots of lovely things for our display such as painting Mrs Pig's little pigs, cutting out leaves for our big class Beanstalk and trying to grow our own Beanstalk!
