Elfords (Year 4) - Year 4 Football Tournament

On Thursday 29th February 2024, 14 children attended a football tournament with 20 other primary schools. The morning was filled with 4 difficult matches which determined who they would play against in the afternoon. In the afternoon, Team A won 3 out of 4 games to become pitch 4 champions. Darfield 3 have had an amazing half term learning all about Prehistoric Man. We've met Ugg the cave man, written fantastic Stone Age adventure stories, made our own stone tools from clay, practised mark making with charcoal to produce cave art, researched and sketched Bronze Age roundhouses and designed and built our own mini Iron Age carts.
