Hello our lovely Luxor learners,
As we start week four of lockdown, we would like you to reflect on how much change you’ve had to adapt to and how well you’re adjusting accordingly. You’re doing so well! We are so proud of you all! It is lovely to see so many of you attending your ‘Zoom Class Meets’ and how confident some of you are becoming on the Zoom app. Well done! 😊
Year 5s ‘Zoom...
Hello, Year 5!
Wow, what a week! The highlight was definitely the Zoom meeting for all three classes! Thank you so much for joining. Watch this space for the next one. 👍🏼
Distance learning folders were delivered by our dedicated staff last week. Thank you to everyone involved. We hope you're enjoying learning about Marvellous Mexico!
Just a few reminders:

Hello Year 5,
Happy new year! What a strange start to the year!
We have loved talking to you today, we were amazed to hear how upbeat you were about the whole situation we are in! We are pleased that you're all doing the right thing, which is following the government guidelines for the lockdown and staying at home, if we all continue to do this we will get to see each other...
Wow what a fabulous start to the Autumn 2 half term. It was amazing to see all children in their smart uniform ready to learn. This week we were delivered a package from ‘NASA’ asking us to examine some samples found in Space – children became young scientist, used their imagination and explored the samples given! Don’t worry, full protection was given to protect their hands,...
Hello my lovely Luxor learners,
Wow, weeks are flying by and we can’t actually believe next week will be our final week before we break up for half term! I guess time flies when you're having fun!
Thank you to all the children who came into school wearing something yellow and contributed in raising money for Young Minds for #HelloYellow day.
This week our star of the week was Salwa, Salwa...
Wow, what an amazing week we had in Luxor 3!
The children started the week in a 1940s classroom, experiencing what a day in a life of a child in the 1940s was - to launch our new theme – World War 2. They absolutely loved the experience!
We have been delighted to see how well the children have been able to re-focus on their learning and how well they have adjusted to the new measures in...
We have had a lovey start to year 5 in our Luxor 3 bubble. The children have been busy with their mini whole school theme which was based around the book called ‘Belonging’.
It was wonderful to see so many children, ready to learn after 6 whole months off. I was also delighted to see all children in my class in full school uniform, looking very smart, indeed!
Our star of the...
Hi Luxor 2,
How are you all? I hope you have been keeping busy. I have been in school supporting the Year 6 bubbles. It has been so different having children in school and not being able to see you. School is very different to how it was when you left - everyone is social distancing and keeping safe. The children are loving 'PE with Mr Lockett' - I will ask him to share some of his exercises...
Hello Luxor 1,
This week would have been the last week of this half term and we would be starting our Spring Bank holiday next week. I have been spending my time getting some fresh air everyday and have been going for a walk in the park near to my house. There is a cafe next to the park selling takeaway chocolate brownies so I have also had one of those everyday! My favourite flavours so far...
Hello my lovely luxor twoers!! I was really happy to get to speak to some of you this week! It makes me so happy to hear your voices. I also get a wonderful update on those who I couldn't speak to this time round. I think I was on the phone with Zaina for almost 25minutes - she was a such a lovely chatterbox! It was good to hear that some of you are still keeping in touch but from a distance...
