Darfield 2

We have had a busy start to the year, and everyone has been working extremely hard. We have been reading, acting out and writing the story of Hansel and Gretel.  The children enjoyed writing the next chapter of their own version of Hansel and Gretel. We spent a lovely afternoon baking the witch’s gingerbread house. The children then decorated their gingerbread house with icing and colourful sweets. ????

We have been busy sketching in our Art books and have all sketched fantastic self-portraits!

We have a busy Autumn 2 planned and will be learning about the Stone Age. In Maths will be beginning to learn our 3 and 4 times tables and in Science we will be learning all about different rocks.  Watch this space!
