Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Education, RE and PSHE

At Harehills Primary School we believe that focussing on the development of the personal, emotional, health and wellbeing of all our children is vital.  This underpins all academic achievement.

Our ethos of Learn, laugh and love is built upon these principles.

We are delighted that our work on developing the social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL) has been identified as effective practice and will be featured in the Autumn SEAL Community newsletter and on their website.

How do we promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our pupils?

SMSC is developed in all subjects and lots of aspects of school life.

Language of the Half Term

We are very proud of the fact that over 30 languages are spoken in school. We celebrate this by focusing each half term on a different language. Click here to find out what the current language of the half term is!
