Mrs Broughton survives Typhoon
Typhoon Haikui hit China's eastern coast causing floods, damaging roads and knocking out power in one of the nation's most populous regions. Typhoon Haikui came ashore in Zhejiang province with winds up to 150 kilometres (90 miles) per hour!
Hong Kong brought to standstill, causing trading to stop! No flights were allowed in or out of H.K. airport as the worst typhoon to hit Hong Kong in years took hold.
Mrs Broughton managed to find a safe place to stay for an extra day whilst the typhoon passed.
