Keeping safe, happy and healthy
It was a very sad day on Friday when we closed the school until further notice. I always talk about us being one big family and so now more than ever we need to work together to keep one another safe, happy and healthy.
Our staff team has been working hard to put together distance learning folders which your child will have received if they were in school before we closed. For those children that were at home, we will be delivering these folders on Monday 23rd/Tuesday 24th March. In addition to this a new range of online learning resources will be published on the Families tab of the website in the next couple of days.
I am advising all families to try and have a timetable every day which includes school activities, exercise and breaks so that your child still has a sense of routine and some feeling of normality. I cannot stress enough how important this is for your child's well-being as well as your own.
School will continue to keep in touch with you all through text messages and through this website so please keep checking for new information. A small team of staff will be in school so you can also telephone school if you want to discuss anything.
In the meantime take care of one another and I look forward to the time I can tell you we can open our wonderful school again.
With very best wishes to you all
Mrs Summerfield 🙂
