Covid Update 7th July 2021
Dear Parents/ Carers
I hope you are all keeping well. This is a quick update for you, so you know how we plan to keep you informed about what is happening in school over the next couple of weeks before school finishes for the summer.
I want to thank you for your continued support, especially over the last few days when we have had to close Conway 2, Luxor 1 and Sandhurst 2 class bubbles due to positive cases of Covid-19.
Having managed to keep school fully open since March 8th with only one bubble closure, we are as frustrated as you when this happens. I know you realise that we are only following what the Department for Education has asked us to do.
| Polite reminder
All government restrictions are still in place so please continue to wear your mask, covering your mouth and nose, on school grounds & social distance until further notice.
Please note the following:
- w/c 12th July, after the Prime Minister confirms on Monday 12th July that easing of Covid-19 restrictions will take place I will send more information about what will happen in school before we break up.
- Monday 12th July, children will be told their class teacher for next year.
- Wednesday 14th July, children will spend the day with their new class teacher in their new classroom. Children still come to school at the same time and to the same entrances.
- Monday 19th July, your child’s end of year school report will be sent home.
During this time of change for us all, I know you will have questions, concerns, comments, and our staff team are here to support. In the first instance I would ask you to contact the school office who will be able to help and please watch out for updates
Thank you once again for all you have done and continue to do, by working with us to support your child.
Together we will keep your child learning, laughing and loving.
