September arrangements for Year 1 - Year 6 children
Hello to all our children and families. We are really excited to be able to open our school again to all year groups in September. Here is all the information you need to know:
If anyone in your household or support bubble develops coronavirus symptoms, you must not send your child/children to school and instead should self-isolate for 14 days.
You must contact school in the usual way to report your child's absence, arrange a coronavirus test at a drop in test centre ASAP then make the school aware of the results once you receive them.
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Please see the NHS website for for more information on coronavirus symptoms and how to get tested.
