Ready, set, go.... welcome to the summer term
Last week was such a happy and productive start to the summer term with everybody back raring to go; we certainly made the most of the four day week 👍 Mrs Lee entertained us with an assembly all about how we can be resilient; one of our six key learning behaviours. This is a half term packed full of challenges especially for our Year 2 and Year 6 children who will sit their SATs in May. Having the ability to be resilient helps you to be equipped to deal with whatever comes your way.
Amanda Ryalls, our Investors in People assessor enjoyed her visit on Wednesday and was very impressed with all we continue to do to sustain our high performance as an Investor in People.
On the same afternoon, achievement conversations took place for children in all year groups. These were of a very high standard, with our staff well prepared and all engaging in open, professional and creative discussion. Everything is focused on making a difference for our children, supporting them to reach their full potential and they are very lucky to have staff who believe in them and work tirelessly to offer them the best experience in school possible.
I know the next few weeks will whizz by but I know our whole school community is ready for what lies ahead
