A sunny start to the Summer term
The sun shone last week and school was filled with happy faces as we all returned after the Easter break. Every single child was straight back into learning and highlights included: a visit from Henry VIII on Monday afternoon who certainly wasn't phased by the searching questions the Year 4 children asked him; Year 3 visiting Yorkshire wildlife park on Wednesday and Year 1 taking part in workshops run by Tutti Frutti theatre company. Add into the mix our Year 5 and Year 6 children beginning their dance sessions with our Active schools Cluster Locality Co-ordinator and there was something for everybody!
Meanwhile our leaders also 'hit the ground running' with a successful 12 month review for Investors in People, setting a very healthy budget for 2018-19 and writing our Harehills Action Plan for Improvement Summer 2018 (HAPI).
What an amazing start to the summer term. Well done everyone.
