It is always wonderful to see how generous our school community are. Conway 1 children entertained us with a very interesting assembly about World food day. Their assembly included children talking about favourite foods from the countries they come from as well as the bible story about the miracle of Jesus sharing the loaves and fishes. Children from all classes brought donations of food to put into boxes which have been delivered to St George's Crypt.
Then on Friday there was a pink glow across school when we all wore something pink for 'Wear it Pink day" and collected money for breast cancer awareness. It is so important that our happy school community is able to recognise that we should help others who are not as fortunate as ourselves.
Thank you Harehills Primary staff, children and families for always looking out for others and being so kind and caring 😊
