High quality learning everywhere you look
Last week was the first week of Spring term lesson observations for all teachers and support staff. When I reflected on the week with our Strategic Leadership team we all commented on what an absolute pleasure it is to spend time in classrooms watching the high quality teaching that takes place right across school. Our children are very privileged to have the creative and exciting learning experiences that our teachers and support staff offer them. The children really do value everything that they have. Only on Friday morning I talked to a group of children in Rise and Shine club who were looking at all the new displays in the Hall. These have been updated to show a snapshot into Reading from every year group as their focus. "Look what we do in our class," said one of the year 3 girls proudly and two of the others were keen to see what other year groups do.
The learning environment is another very powerful way of supporting children to learn and to celebrate what they have achieved. I am incredibly proud of the fantastic learning environment that exists in our school.
