Wishing we were back together

Hello Elfords!

If we were following the regular school calendar, we would all be reuniting today in our classroom to talk about our 2-week holiday! Unfortunately, we are not together this morning and we will have to wait a little longer to share our stories and learn as a class. What a wonderful day that will be!

Tomorrow, the Year 4 teachers will be going into school to prepare more activities for your Distance Learning Folders! I hope you found some of the previous activities useful and entertaining! Remember you don’t have to do them in any particular order! Take your time, have some fun and pick the activities you feel most confident doing. You’re all definitely practising your independence skills right now and I am so proud of you. If you get stuck; give yourself a break, ask a family member or try looking up help online!

Other than that, I hope you have been keeping busy and taking this time to explore some of your own interests! I told you all about my baking in my last blog but with the weather being so nice my attention has turned to gardening! I’ve been working hard to plant some vegetables and I’m hoping in a month I’ll be able to make dinner with them! Maybe ask if you could grow something in a small pot on your windowsill?

Wishing you all the best!

Miss Methven
