Our learning this term
This term has been amazing!
As part of our theme, we learnt about natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis.
The devastating earthquake that struck Harehills was a horrible experience for those who were in the building at the time. As part of our writing, we wrote a newspaper report about the horrible incident that occurred at the time.
We also had the chance to make volcanoes and some of us got to paint them. We will be erupting them after the holidays!
In addition to this, on Thursdays, we have had the opportunity to work with Boom, who helps us develop our confidence in performing whilst also improving our topic vocabulary.
Unfortunately, we have no more swimming in Harehills Primary School. We had some great sessions. Good bye swimming! Year 3, we hope you enjoy your sessions next term as much as we did!
What our class says:
“I enjoyed reading new books!” - Mujeeb.”
“I loved writing the dilemma story”- Albraa
“I have had a great time working with Artis” - Jasdeep
“I enjoyed the creative lesson where we made volcanoes” – Iqra
