The Ashton classes have had a very exciting start to 2020. This half term we are leaerning all about books that take us on magical journeys. One of the books we have learnt is "We're Going On A Bear Hunt". To bring this text to life we visited Skelton Grange where we went on a real bear hunt. The children had an amazing time traveling through puddles, forest, mud and even a cave!!
We are really proud of the children in Reception. They are all now settled in and have formed fantastic friendships. They play together nicely and follow our school rules really well! Here are some photos of their purposeful play from this half term:
